About
We invite you to join us, as we go through this life as a family. Many have found their spiritual home here, and we invite you to come see for yourself. Meet the people, find your place and grow with us.
Focused on Christ, United in Prayer!
Benbrook United Methodist Church is honored to be the oldest church in Benbrook. Our story began in 1857, as a small single-room church and school building built near Clear Fork. After it's structural collapse in 1865, a new building known as ''Old Rawhide'' was completed in 1872, but burned down in 1880 and yet another church was built. Upon it's 100th year anniversary celebration in 1957, four acres of land were purchased in Benbrook's lakeside addition where a new sanctuary was constructed in 1969, becoming the worship center known today.
Many have found their spiritual home at Benbrook United Methodist Church. We invite you to come and see for yourself. Meet the people, find your place, and grow with us. We look forward to getting to know you!
